American Cocker Spaniels are cute dogs famous for their gentle and good-natured disposition. Their body is covered with beautiful, very thick long hair. Color can be any (fawn, white with black, red, etc.). Special mention deserves the long flexible neck, allowing the dog with particular ease to look for tracks on the ground.Breed history:

There is no exact information on the origin of the breed. As the progenitors called working English Cockers. There is a legend that the very first Cocker Spaniel came to America in 1629 with the first settlers from the Old World. These dogs were allegedly seen on board the ship “Mayflower”, sticking to the American coast. Initially, all spaniels were considered one breed. Only much later, when the breeders began to systematic selection of particularly desirable qualities in dogs and standards of the modern breed of American Cocker Spaniels were developed. Previously, these dogs were used as hunting dogs for searching and aporting small game. Today, they are universally considered to be excellent companions.
