Description: Refined, very beautiful dogs with a soft and noble disposition. The body is covered with a short, tough, tight-fitting and somewhat shiny coat. The most characteristic colors are: lemon with white, red with white, liver with white, black with white.Breed history: There is no exact information on the origin of the breed. The most likely its ancestors are representatives of various lines of the Old Spanish setter. Originally used solely for tracking down game, today English Pointers are not only excellent dog friends, but also excellent home companions.
Games, entertainment, recreation: Pointers show a lot of walking, they also need space for running (a fenced sports field may well be suitable). Pointers do not need significant physical exertion.
English Pointer Attractive features: English Pointers are very obedient dogs, they have a noble, though perhaps somewhat sensitive nature. Thanks to the gentle and calm attitude towards the owner and his family, the Pointers are rightly considered to be the ideal companions. The short and hard wool of the pointers allows them to tolerate the hot rays of the sun and does not require special care. Remember that the pointers do not like being left alone for a long time.
